People expect technology to tell mood of colleague, improve taste of food by 2030: As per the report

A large number of workers expect that technology will enable people to sense the mood of their fellow workers, improve the taste of there food and other senses by 2030 as per the report released by Ericsson. The Ericsson Industry Lab report are based on a survey that covered around 13.3 crore workers & staff across 16 countries including India, found that nearly 6 in 10 predict that there will be permanent increase in online meetings.

“During this COVID-19 where people are completely separate from others, people everywhere are rediscovering the importance of smells and flavours and the sheer physical ability of the locations they usually do at business.

The report also says that people who responded also understanding that connectivity is now more important than ever before, digital meetings need to change and get better before they become as effective as the real thing. There is simply a need for tools that better support remote interaction.

The survey around ‘Internet of Senses‘ have collected opinions of people and find out some realistic things that how sensory connectivity through AI has improved and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), 5G and automation can change the work situation for related to jobs where people mostly use an education and brains to earn money.

As per the report from Ericsson find out that the 73% of senior managers believe that food in the company can be digitally improved by 2030. 76% of the co-workers feel that by 2030 technology will enable them to sense when a fellow worker is upset, that also means their employer will know when they themselves are upset

The report said people expect that there will be wearable devices that will use online weather forecasts and make users feel the oncoming weather, such as the amount of wind or rain that a person will be exposed to during commute or on a customer visit.

The Internet of Senses will most likely be used for marketing and sales, with 59 % people saying that video and 50 % saying digital temperature will be used to have more very interesting engagements with customers by 2030,” as per the study said.
